FRANCISCO OBREGON
Dibujante arquitectónico egresado el año 1998, Actor y marionetista autodidacta, inicia su carrera en el año 1996 en la Compañia de teatro Achen de Chile, en un principio trabajando obras realistas, en su mayoría del autor Jorge Diaz - Cicatrices de la memoria (ganadora de Mineduc 2001, Fondart Regional 2002 y Teatro Itinerante de Chile 2003), La Opera inmóvil (ganadora del Fondart Regional 1998) y de Viaje a la penumbra son algunos de los trabajos montados por esta compañía, logrando ganar un gran número de proyectos teatrales y así hacer giras a mas de 30 ciudades a lo largo de Chile.
En su búsqueda por lo diferente decide crear junto a sus compañeros la Compañía de Muñecos Octopus en la cual desarrollan y buscan diferentes formas de llegar al mundo de las marionetas y muñecos en general: Anacleto, Sinbad el marino (ganadora del Fondo Nacional de Desarrollo Regional 2003) y Sangre sudor y mujeres (ganadora del Fondo Nacional de Desarrollo 2002) son algunos de los títulos de esta compañía.
En el año 2004 es invitado al Primer festival de artes de la calle de Chile, en donde junto a otros artistas de calle integran la mesa de dialogo y de trabajo para este proyecto.
Desde el año 2005 participa en varios festivales y eventos de marionetas y teatro de calle en Europa, en particular en Italia, España, Eslovenia, Austria, Alemania, Belgica y Holanda donde presenta el espectáculo

Festivalbur 2010 .
En el año 2009 estrena el espectáculo de sala "Convivencias", abriendo el EuroPuppetFestiValsesia y en el 2010 participa con suceso a Entepach de Chillán (Cile) El nuevo espactáculo se dirige a un público de jovenes y adultos; cinco personaje cuentan diferentes historias en relación a la soledad, al sexo y a la vida.
El año 2009 lo dedica también a la formación personal, participando en un workshop de manipulación y construcción de marionetas con el marionetista catalan Jordi Bertran y en un curso de escultura en madera con el maestro italiano Natale Panaro.
Con él participa en el 2010 en un curso de construcción de marionetas en goma espuma. En el 2011 afina la tecnica de construccion y refinado con Angel Calvente, director de la Compania Española El Espejo Negro.

Nunca han tenido la ilusión que lo inanimado tiene vida? ……Si ésta sensación les ha sorprendido y fascinado, imaginen de construir un personaje y de tener, no solo por un instante, la misma sensación. La emoción que deriva es doblemente fuerte y crea una especie de complicidad y de amor por el fruto de la propia creatividad y del propio trabajo.
Es exactamente lo que pasó a Francisco dos años atrás, en una tarde lluviosa en Santiago mientras se daba cuenta que la marioneta que estaba construyendo era una mujer. Amor a primera vista. Nunca más se dejaron. Pero, como todas las parejas tienen sus problemas. Sophia es egocéntrica, provocativa, una diva de espuma.
Durante el espectáculo Sophia, en una atmósfera de música, baile y humor, cambia la realidad en fantasía, superando el espacio entre actor y público. El espectador de hecho se transforma de observador pasivo en cómplice dinámico, ofreciendo al actor oportunidades siempre nuevas de improvisación, dando vida a un espectáculo cada vez único y original.
El humorismo punzante y el comportamiento irreverente de Sophia fascina los niños, conquista los hombres y enfurece a las mujeres, pero todos al final se sienten encariñados a esta indisciplinada "Pinocha" que la refinada técnica de manipulación hace vivir.

"En la escena una mesa , a su derecha una silla con ruedas, a su izquierda una maleta, sobre la silla el actor sentado con una cabeza de títere no acabada en sus manos, en la mesa un abuelo y un manco, en la maleta una muñeca.."
Estas palabras describen la imagen principal de esta obra de muñecos, la cual es totalmente en CONVIVENCIA entre un hombre y objetos manipulados por el mismo.

Alguna vez han imaginado tener un solo brazo ?
Sabes por que me gustas tanto?....por que hablas cuando yo quiero.
Son algunas frases que resumen la difícil convivencia entre actor y muñeco. A través de los minutos este personaje disfruta y vive de diferentes historias entrelazadas entre si, pero con una distinta filosofía de vida y de racionalidad. Cambios de estado emocional sin poder manejar, alegría, tristeza, soledad, locura ,son las diferentes etapas que este personaje enfrenta en su espacio y su mundo. Su taller, único espacio de creación y a la vez de sobrevivencia.
5 personajes, los cuales cuentan a través del manipulador-actor las diferentes posiciones con respecto al sexo, la soledad y la vida sin sentido.

teatroDesde el 05 hasta el 09 de mayo nos trasladamos a Estambul,Turquia , para el festival internacional de titeres que se desarrolla cada ano,en lo personal una nueva experiencia y la primera vez que actuaremos en ese pais.
